Junior full-stack developer
Full-stack developer building security-aware systems.
Mark Wendell Aquino, a junior full-stack developer focused on deployed web systems, collaborative projects, and security-aware development.
My work includes deployed dashboards, travel apps, check-in systems, capstone platforms, and defensive security labs with visible proof across live links, GitHub activity, and collaboration history.

Explore My Work
Start with the area that matters most, then go deeper into the project and contribution details.
Full-Stack Collection
A curated collection of deployed web apps, dashboards, backend workflows, hardware-integrated systems, and AI/API experiments.
Security Practice
Defensive security learning through authentication, RBAC, validation, OWASP testing, and network/security lab practice.
Collaboration Proof
Merged pull requests, shared repository work, code review feedback, and capstone team support that show how I contribute with others.
Capstone Engineering Experience
Full-stack development support, deployment assistance, technical advising, and collaboration across academic capstone systems.
During one semester, I supported multiple academic capstone teams while building my own SmartFlood system. My work focused on practical full-stack support: stack decisions, deployments, database connections, technical guidance, and turning project requirements into working web platforms.
Some repositories are private due to team ownership, academic requirements, or project privacy. Public live demos, role breakdowns, screenshots, and selected GitHub activity are provided where available.
SmartFlood Platform
AI flood monitoring and relief allocation system
SmartFlood was my main capstone project, developed through multiple versions as requirements changed. I helped build the web system, connect sensor and resident data, integrate AI recommendation logic, and deploy the platform for presentations.
- Helped build and iterate multiple SmartFlood versions from proposal MVP to final presentation.
- Used MongoDB Atlas for sensor identification and sensor readings.
- Helped integrate and deploy a Python AI service using AHP and Fuzzy Logic.
Beyond the Shake — Animation Capstone Website
Supported an animation capstone team that needed a connected website for their project. I helped with stack selection, deployment workflow, domain setup, and GitHub support.
- Helped choose and set up the web stack.
- Supported GitHub and deployment workflow.
- Recommended embedded trailer delivery through hosted URLs.
Life in Rhythm — Unity + Firebase Capstone Support
Supported a choice-based game capstone team by advising their technical direction and helping plan the connection between the game, web platform, and Firebase data.
- Helped choose Unity for the game experience.
- Recommended Firebase for database and leaderboard-style data.
- Supported Firebase connection planning between the game and web platform.
What this experience shows
- Team-based development and shared project contribution
- Practical technical support for non-web-specialist teams
- Stack selection based on project constraints
- Deployment, database, domain, and integration experience
- Deadline-driven delivery with working deployed systems
Collaborative Experience
Real contribution history from shared repositories, code review, and merged pull requests.
Codebility
Volunteer Full-Stack Developer
I contributed inside a shared repository, responded to review feedback, and shipped merged interface work. My contribution trail focuses on inspectable pull requests rather than just claims.
Highlights
- Merged PR #74: Premium Chessboard UI and Interaction Overhaul
- Merged PR #62: Dashboard Experience and Game Navigation Refinement
- React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion
- Responsive UI and collaborative development
GitHub Build Trail
Proof of Building
Real contribution history from GitHub, framed as build activity: experiments, iterations, project work, and learning momentum over time.

About the Builder
I built this portfolio to show more than polished interfaces. I want it to reflect how I learn: by building, testing, receiving feedback, and improving through real projects.
I am a junior developer focused on practical full-stack work, clear interfaces, and systems that can be tested, deployed, and explained.
My interests include disaster technology ideas, Human-in-the-Loop AI, IoT prototypes, backend workflows, and defensive security practice.
I am most interested in teams that value coachable developers who ask good questions, communicate clearly, and are willing to contribute across different parts of a product.
Build With Me
Open to teams, freelance work, and technical roles where I can contribute, learn from feedback, and keep growing as a developer.
